Our bodies….change.

Usain Bolt stopped eating 1,000 chicken nuggets to win the Olympics in Rio. His body couldn’t metabolize it like 2 Olympics before.

Now, I drink one beer and want to take a nap. My god man!And the morale boost doesn’t stop there.

Sleeping. Yup, that’s a thing too.It turns out that 7 hours is our lucky number.

It turns out that 7 hours is our lucky number.My partners and I had a rough couple weeks. Working on the road, entertaining guests, working across a 9-hour time zone….I think at one point our foreheads went numb.

Reality check again…we get tired.

Don’t get me wrong. We fight through the tiredness and keep moving. But we can only take that evil look from our wives so much. The WTHeck are you doing face.

“Sleep for 7. Be 7x more productive”

While that is not true, we definitely noticed a difference in our attitudes and productivity when aiming for 7 hours of sleep versus 5-6.

After “sleeping in”, I feel like I can run a little longer without getting tired and clearer with thoughts. Maybe it’s helping to feel a little more daring too.

So while I may have found a magic formula just before little blueberry is born and sleeping in won’t be possible, I had to share the insight.

A little more sleep might be a good thing. Not only for your body but also for things you’re working on.

So to our ladies, thank you for forcing us to bed.
