I have not seen any factual evidence that this isn't the case.

I have experience implementing Webflow SEO among other platforms like Squarespace and WordPress. Webflow is no more difficult or less empowering. You need a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the dashboard, just like any platform, and then you're ready.

Here's a concise guide to setting up SEO in Webflow:

Access SEO Settings:

Log into your Webflow dashboard.

  • Select the project you're working on.
  • Navigate to the 'Project Settings' and click the 'SEO' tab.

General SEO Settings:

Site Name & Default Meta Title: Enter a descriptive title for your site.

Meta Description: Write a compelling 150-160 character description that summarizes your site's content.

Open Graph Settings: 

Customize how your website appears when your site's URLs are shared across social media platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn.

Page-Specific SEO Settings:

In the Designer tool, select the page you want to optimize.

  • Under the 'Settings' tab, you'll find fields for 'SEO Title' and 'Meta Description'. Populate them with relevant, keyword-optimized content.
  • Scroll down to set up Open Graph settings for the specific page.

Set Up XML Sitemaps:

Webflow generates an XML sitemap for your site that automatically updates. You can add this to Google Search Console to make sure that Google has full visibility on your desired public pages.

  • Ensure it's enabled in the 'SEO' tab under 'Project Settings.'
  • You can access the sitemap at yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml.

Robots.txt File:

Navigate to the 'SEO' tab in 'Project Settings'.

  • Customize your robots.txt file to guide search engine crawlers on which pages or files to index or ignore.

301 Redirects:

Useful for directing old URLs to new ones.

In 'Project Settings', go to the 'Hosting' tab and then to the '301 Redirects' section to set up your redirects.

Ensure Clean URL Structures:

Webflow provides slug customization. Make your URLs descriptive and relevant to the page content.

Mobile Optimization:

Ensure your design is responsive. Webflow's design platform aids in creating mobile-friendly layouts.

Optimize Images:
